Lodge Trek

We have designed some low budget treks in which our clients stay in local lodges and teahouses, selected by us. Each trek is guided by a Sardar (guide) and the accommodation is on full board basis. Unlimited by the constraints of fully organized treks our clients walk at their own pace and will have opportunities to meet local people and share the culture and traditions with them.

We only book lodges and teahouses that use gas or kerosene for cooking; in this way we try to reduce our environmental impact. (On fully organized treks we have to provide fuel and kitchen gear for porters also, entailing hiring of extra porters for porters).

Climb while trekking

Many of you have dreamed of reaching the summit of a mountain among the many Himalayan peaks in Nepal. Many smaller Himalayan peaks can be successfully climbed by amateur mountaineers and strong trekkers on a relatively short holiday.

The government of Nepal has opened several peaks that are known as "Trekking Peaks" for trekking groups with permission from Nepal Mountaineering Association. Permits can be obtained at short notice for a reasonable price with little paperwork. These climbing treks which can be climbed in less than three weeks, including the trek in and out, will be led by our Sardars, some of whom have climbed Mt. Everest and other Himalayan peaks.

The above peak is among 33 peaks open under Group A and B. For peaks other then listed above, there is need for additional arrangements and logistics. Also more time is required. Comprehensive information on there peaks are available on the website of Nepal Mountaineering Association,www.nepalmountaineering.org
